One Million Star: done!

I've just finished watching the first season of One Million Star (a.k.a. Chao Ji Xing Guang Da Dao in Chinese) last week. Call me late, but there's nothing I can do since I don't have premium channels at home. Luckily, I can get free satellite channel CETV, who is kind enough to air it, eventhough it is a year late (I think the second season is over by now). Not really excited about the final result, but I'm not complaining either. The winner, Yoga Lin You Jia, definitely can sing, but sometimes I find his singing expression annoying. Anyhow, better him than the others who are left.
Actually I am rooting for Aska Yang Zong Wei. It's a shame that he decided to withdraw from the competition due to age falsifying. I think he is the best singer in the competition. He is really good at melancholic songs, making audiences really feel the sadness of the songs, and frequently brings tears in the eyes. Yet he is famous already. I heard that he is going to release his album in January next year (yay!). Really looking forward to it.
Actually several albums have been launched as a result of the show. Two of them are a compilation from all the contestants, a.k.a. Xing Guang Bang. Included in the latter one is several new songs from Aska, Yoga, Stanly, Peter, and Judy. I love Aska's song "Duo Yu". Yoga's "Na Shou Ge" is not bad either. The latest album is coming from Afalean Lu Xue Rui, the 4th place winner, who apparently is under a contract with Sony BMG unlike most of the others who are under HIM. That's why I cannot find him in the second group album.
Well, I enjoyed the first season. Dunno about the second. All I know the second season is filled with female contestants, in the contrary with the first which are dominated by male. But heck, I'm just going to focus on waiting for Aska's album, hehehe...
