My Blog
Chindonesian guy with very poor Chinese sense. Refused to learn Chinese as a child, and having regrets about it now. (very) Slowly keeping up with the regrets by listening to Mandarin music and tuning into Taiwan entertaiment shows.

The Year 2005
Posted by lefhen at 10:22 AM on January 3, 2005.
I wanna take this chance to give everyone a new year greeting. Probably this year's celebration was quite different. As we know thousands of our brothers and sisters, died in a very tragic disaster. But as we grieve for them, this is a challenge for us who are still alive to make a new start with a new spirit in this new year.
I pray for all the victims, may they rest in peace.
And for those who live, may they grow stronger and recover as soon as possible to start a better life...
Amen...

I think it's ok for now...

Hum... done some adjusting with the layout after a disastrous moment of the transistion to Tabulas 2.0. I'm not saying that the changes made in Tabulas 2.0 is bad. But there are many people who are upset about the effect to their layouts. Yes, the layout can be restored. But somehow, it's not all compatible with the new Tabulas. Like mine, for example.
So I decided to pick one standard layout of Tabulas 2.0 and make little adjustment to it, plus a color composition similar to my previous layout. There'll probably be another minor changes in the next few days. But for now, I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Tom Hanks rocks!!
Posted by lefhen at 04:33 PM on January 14, 2005.
I just watched the movie titled "The Terminal" last night. Tom Hanks is the main actor. And all I can say is: WHOAAA!! Four thumbs up!! I would give him more thumbs if I can switch my other fingers into more thumbs :D
I never thought a story that only took place in an airport lounge can be so interesting. Sad really. I can imagine if I were in his shoes. Stuck there for an uncertain range of time. Whoo, that'd be really depressing.
Anyway... the story is cool. Very funny. Tom Hanks's act was very convincing as a foreigner. His dialect and all. It just fit in. Probably one other important aspect that makes this movie worth watching is the director, Uncle Spielberg. And not to mention Catherine Zeta-Jones that looked extremely beautiful as a stewardess.
I won't spoil out the story for you who haven't watch the movie. But, I tell you this. Go see it! It's good... it's really really good!

Hmm... when will it get normal?

Oh man..., I'm still having problem accessing Tabulas since the server died the other day. Just to write this entry, I must use a kind of anonymizer program to get thru to tabulas.
I've ask about this in the forum and Roy said that the problem lies at the ISP. So? There's nothing he can do, and neither do I. I'll just wait??
Oh man...
